How to Track Revenue with the Stripe Dashboard

The Revenue tab in Command Center pulls live data from your connected Stripe account, giving you a real-time view of your agency's revenue.

What You See

The Revenue tab shows:

  • Monthly recurring revenue (MRR) — Total from active subscriptions
  • Total revenue this month — All charges including one-time payments
  • Revenue by client — Breakdown of how much each client pays
  • Payment history — Recent transactions with status (succeeded, failed, refunded)
  • Hosting revenue — Revenue specifically from $10/month site hosting fees

Connecting Stripe

Revenue data comes from your Stripe account. If you haven't connected Stripe yet:

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations
  2. Click Connect Stripe
  3. Authorize Trovn to read your Stripe data

Trovn only reads payment data — it never creates charges or modifies your Stripe account.

Reading the Dashboard

MRR Trend A line chart showing your MRR over the past 12 months. Look for:

  • Upward trend = growing business
  • Flat line = retention is good but not growing
  • Dips = churn — clients canceling

Revenue by Client A table showing each client, their plan/service, and monthly payment. Useful for identifying your highest-value clients and spotting clients at risk of churning (low engagement + high payment = risk).

Failed Payments Highlighted in red. Failed payments need immediate attention — reach out to the client to update their payment method before their service lapses.

Tips

  • Check weekly — Revenue data changes daily. A weekly check helps you catch failed payments and churn early.
  • Export for accounting — Click Export CSV to download transaction data for your bookkeeper or accountant.
  • Pair with Pipeline — Revenue shows you who's paying. Pipeline shows you who's about to pay. Together they give you a full picture of agency cash flow.
