The Competitor Gap tab shows domains that link to your competitors but not to your target site. These are your best backlink opportunities.
How to read it: Each row shows:
- A referring domain (a website that could link to you)
- Which competitors it already links to (shown as colored badges)
- The domain's authority rank
Priority: Domains that link to 2 or 3 of your competitors are the highest priority — they clearly cover your industry and would likely link to you too.
What to do with this data:
- Visit the top domains in the list
- See what type of content they publish (blog posts, directories, resource pages)
- Reach out and pitch why they should link to your client's site
- Common targets: local directories, industry blogs, chamber of commerce sites, news sites
Exporting: Click "Add to Outreach List" on any domain to save it for follow-up.
