Making Changes
Type what you want changed in the chat (make sure you're in Build Mode). Examples:
- "Change the hero headline to 'Tampa's Most Trusted Plumber'"
- "Add a gallery section after services"
- "Make the footer darker and add the Instagram link"
- "Fix the phone number — it should be (813) 555-0100"
Targeted edits cost 0.25 build credits. Adding a new section costs 0.5 credits.
Regenerating
Click Regenerate to rebuild the entire site from scratch with the same prompt. This costs 1 full build credit. Useful if the first version wasn't what you wanted.
Uploading References
You can attach up to 5 files per message (JPG, PNG, PDF, DOCX, TXT) to help the AI understand what you want. For example, upload a screenshot of a design you like and say "make it look like this."
URL Scraper
Click the URL scraper button in the chat toolbar, paste a competitor or reference site URL, and Claude extracts the content and layout. Use this to reverse-engineer a competitor's structure or pull in real content from an existing site.
What to Do If the Builder Gets Stuck
If generation seems to hang for more than 5 minutes, navigate away and come back. The generation continues on the server even when you're not on the page. Return to the builder and you'll see the completed (or failed) state.
