How to Send a New Version

When you update the site and want the client to review the new version:

From the Builder

1. Make your changes in the builder chat
2. Click Send New Version
3. Add notes about what changed ("Updated the hero photo, fixed the contact form, added the new service you mentioned")
4. Click Send

The client's portal updates to show the new version. Previous versions are kept in the version history so you can always go back.

From the Portal Dashboard

1. Go to the project
2. Click Upload New Version
3. Upload the updated ZIP
4. Add version notes

What the Client Sees

The client sees the updated site in the preview. They can use the viewport selector to check mobile, tablet, and desktop views. The feedback sidebar resets for the new version — they can leave fresh comments.

If the previous version was accepted and comments were locked, the client sees the Unlock Comments button to start reviewing the new version.
