Already have a website built outside of Trovn? The Upload Existing Site feature lets you bring it into the Trovn workflow.
How It Works
- Go to the Pipeline page
- Click the Upload Existing Site button on any submission
- Upload a ZIP file containing your website files (HTML, CSS, JS, images)
- Trovn imports the site into the builder
What Happens After Upload
Once uploaded, the site is part of your Trovn pipeline. You can:
- Preview it in the builder
- Make edits using the AI chat — describe changes and the AI modifies the existing code
- Send to Client Portal for client review and approval
- Go Live to deploy it to a custom domain
- Track it in your pipeline alongside AI-built sites
Use Cases
- You built a site in another tool and want to use Trovn's Client Portal and Go Live features
- A client has an existing site they want redesigned — upload the current version as a reference
- You want to bring legacy projects into Trovn for centralized management
File Requirements
- Upload as a ZIP file
- Include all HTML, CSS, JS, and image files
- Keep the file structure clean — index.html should be at the root of the ZIP
